I loved Rain, Apple and Del the most in this story because they were the most interesting to read about. I love how Apple and Del become friends. The reason I enjoyed this book so much is because I could build a relationship with the characters - they seemed so real to me. I would recommend the book to all ages. 5 Stars - Tamsen
The main character is Garvie Smith and he is my favourite character. This is a murder mystery story in which Garvie trys to help the police using his superior IQ. I LOVED this book. Anybody who likes cool mysteries will love to read it. It is an easy, suspenseful read. 5 Stars - Lizzie
Koyasan is set in Japan and follows a girl named Koyasan who is afraid to cross a wooden bridge because of the spirits on the other side in the graveyard. But when she angers her little sister and she goes running into the graveyard Koyasan must put aside all her fears for the greater good of her sister as she desperately tries to search for her sisters' stolen soul. As is to be expected with Darren Shan, Koyasan is amazingly well written. 4/5 stars Steven Farnham

This cover looked very different to anything I have read and the blurb made the book sound exciting. From the first page I was drawn in and the book is totally unique. I love Raven and hate how helpless she feels when she is labelled by people. - Steffi
I liked this book because it was easy to understand but it was still fast paced enough to keep me interested. The tension throughout the book is sustained until the end. I would recommend this to readers who like a quick but suspenseful read. - Hannah
This book was very cool for readers who like zombies. It was quite tense in places and very exciting when the kids had to find a way off the ship. I liked how it was fast and easy to read. 5 stars (James) This was a very exciting, dark horror story! - Jack
